Preparing Your Quilt:
-Your quilt backing and batting needs to be 4 inches longer on all 4 sides of your quilt top.
-Please make sure your backing is trimmed and squared up.
-Quilt top needs to be free from any embellishments.
-If you used applique on your quilt, please make sure it is properly secured.
- Please specify which side of your quilt is the top, if applicable. Please also specify if your quilt top or backing is directional.
- If possible, please make sure your seams on your backing are horizontal. This helps prevent your quilt from sagging on the frame.
-We accept quilts shipped for all over! So if you are out of state, let us know and we can send you the address to send your quilts to.
-Please make sure to wrap your quilt in some sort of plastic wrapping (trash bag, Ziploc bag, etc). This will ensure that your quilt stays clean and dry while shipping to us.
-We strongly recommend getting tracking and insurance on your quilt when you send it to us. Usually USPS priority boxes come with free tracking and $50.00 worth of insurance.
-If your quilt is extra, extra special, we recommend getting a signature confirmation and additional insurance.
-We will ship your quilts back through FedEx. If you prefer us to ship back through UPS or USPS, please let us know.
-Customer is responsible for shipping costs to and from us.
-Two Crazy Stitches is not responsible for quilt shipments that we do not receive.
